Property search – to Buy

Our services and commission are outlined below for your guidance. Should you decide to engage our service, we ask you to sign our agreement and pay a non -refundable retainer fee.

As soon as the retainer fee is paid and the signed agreement is received, the search will begin.

Once the right property has been found and the price successfully negotiated, Weald Property Search commission is calculated on a % of the final purchase price, or a % of the saving between the asking price and the final purchase price of the property, whichever is the greater. Our pre paid retainer fee is at this point deducted from this final figure, and our commission is payable on exchange of contracts. Our fee is normally saved in the negotiation of the purchase price.

If you have found a property without our assistance, we can offer you a negotiation service.

This can be a fixed fee or a % of the saving between the asking price and the final purchase price, whichever is the greater. The fee is payable on exchange of contracts.

Property search – to Rent.

To engage our services for one calendar month we charge a non - refundable retainer fee. Our commission for finding a rental property is equivalent to one month’s rental, and the retainer fee is then deducted from one month’s rental charge. This becomes due when the client signs the contract.
